It has been awhile!
I’m so excited to be coming together with all these talented ladies to feature some fun art-inspired projects with a whole line of new sequin mixes. I’ve been wanting to create more things to give others, aka happy mail – so today I’m sharing a project I created with the intention of sending a little love to someone I care about
I loooove abstract art so much. I have recently started following an artist on Instagram who makes incredible work – Katie Woodford, find her stuff here. I was so inspired by the colors in the piece below, that I channeled it and found it went perfectly with the new sequin mix “Morning Glow”
I’m using a scrap piece of light pink paper for my background, around 6×8 inches. I had some beautiful dusty rose + gold ribbon that I stitched along the side, LOVING the result! I found a PL title card “You are so loved” that I thought would be perfect to send. I used a scrap piece of page protector and stitched it closed with the card and sequins inside. SO easy!
I layered a few papers and embellishments behind my pocket once I attached it. The flower is from an older Crate Paper collection and a few things come from Felicity Jane.
I love how super quick this came together! Sometimes its hard for me to use sequins in mass amounts but I love when I get to because it really highlights how gorgeous the mixes are.
